2. What was the timeframe you worked at Microware? January 1997 to October 1997. Short, but very enjoyable! I made many friends!
3. What was your job title(s) and what did you do at Microware? Software Engineer. I worked on fixmod, a port of TFTP client from BSD to OS-9, building ports tree, etc.
4. What is your most interesting or vivid memory of Microware? The move from one side of the highway to the other one. I was remember working on tables instead of desks the week of the move!
5. What were some of your favorite times at Microware? Playing softball for the OS-9ers, playing darts in the kitchenette, the free soft drinks!
6. Have any experiences, skills, or habits that you picked up at Microware made an impact on your life? Please share them with us.
7. What was your reason for leaving Microware? Ragweed allergies. I am severly allergic to ragweed and couldn't stay in Iowa for very long because of it. Also, I didn't have a car, which made it difficult to get around. I also missed my family (I was 22 at the time)
8. What have you been doing career-wise since Microware? I have worked mainly in the networking and Unix field, and now specializing in computer and network security.
9. Tell us about your family: spouse, significant others, kids, pets, etc. I have been with my girlfriend for 4 years, met her in high-school, met her again at age 25, and the rest is history as they say. No kids or pets yet.
