Somebody needs a little refresher course!

Have any experiences, skills, or habits that you picked up at Microware made an impact on your life? Please share them with us.
I can now tell the difference between ROM and RAM. ;)

What was your reason for leaving Microware?
Wanted to head in a new direction, write some new code, get into filesystems and do more emulation projects.

What have you been doing career-wise since Microware?
I've been at 3PAR, a high end storage vendor.  Responsible for x86 node firmware, some Linux kernel drivers, and MIPS (soon ARM) drive cage firmware.

Tell us about your family: spouse, significant others, kids, pets, etc.
I married an alien, became a big toy, and will have a baby monkey.
