Software Engineer, Sr. Software Engineer 

 

4.  What is your most interesting or vivid memory of Microware? 

Ken had to sign everything. 

 

5.  What were some of your favorite times at Microware? 

Watching the State Fair Food Eating Contest on the news. 

 

6.  Have any experiences, skills, or habits that you picked up at Microware made an impact on your life?  Please share them with us. 

MPEG Video experience - I've based my career on it.

 

7.  What was your reason for leaving Microware? 

Greener pastures 

 

8.  What have you been doing career-wise since Microware? 

6 years in Silicon Valley, 3 years in the Washington DC area.  Currently "Director, Television Standards and Policy" for Sharp Laboratories of America

 

9.  Tell us about your family: spouse, significant others, kids, pets, etc. 

Spouse: Beth at home with 2.5yr old Sarah 

 

11.  Do you ever see other former Microware employees and do you have their email addresses?

Most of the Microwareoids that I know told me about this!  I ran into the Vidium folks, Arthur Orduna and a few random others (Gopal) at the Western Show.
