Administrative Assistant to Mike Burgher, Inside Sales


4.  What is your most interesting or vivid memory of Microware?

In the 90's, MW was a very unique and fun company to work for--there weren't many software companies in DSM.


5.   What were some of your favorite times at Microware?

Friday afternoon get-togethers!  J


6.  Have any experiences skills, or habits that you picked up at Microware made an impact on your life? 

The computer skills I learned at MW were ahead of their time!!


7.  What was your reason for leaving Microware?

I went back to teaching.


8.  What have you been doing career-wise since Microware?

I work as a Curriculum Coordinator at National Park Community College in Hot Springs, AR.


9.  Tell us about your family.

Denny (my husband) still works for Lifeline Systems, Inc.  He was transferred to Arkansas (and Oklahoma) in 1999.  I have worked at NPCC since then.  Our oldest son, Chet, also works for Lifeline and lives in the Dallas area.  He and Anna have two wonderful girls, Ashlyn, 3, and Kendall, 1.  Anna is working on her PhD in marketing and teaching part-time at the University of North Texas.  Our younger son, Josh, lives in San Francisco.  (Josh worked for MW for a summer while he was at ISU.)  He worked for four years in Salt Lake City as a computer engineer.  Now, he is following a dream and going to art school in SF.  His girlfriend, Lauren, is also working on a PhD in biology.  Our dog, Rags, will be 20 in July!!!
